The Hero Down Shootout Challenge is a 2-day, 4-man team shooting event held at Ridgeline Training Center in Dalton NH. HDSC is designed around community. HDSC brings the shooting industry, law enforcement, military, and veteran community together to fundraise in direct support of those who’ve held the line for their community and country. In collaboration with Ridgeline Defense, HDSC combines a weekend event that blends shooting skills, speed, teamwork, and physical tasks into a 2-day competition. HDSC has grown exponentially in the 3 years from 10 teams to now 25 teams in a completely sold out event.
HDSC brings together a great community of people and industry partners at an unrivaled facility and staff at Ridgeline Training Center.
Since its inception in 2017, (Formerly known as The Gauntlet Combat Shootout), The HDSC has now raised over $100,000 in direct support Law Enforcement, Military, Veterans, and their families.
The 2024 event will be in support of the Boston Police Relief Association. The BPRA assists in supporting the families of the fallen, injured, and sick officers.
Additionally, funds will be directed in honoring a fallen member of the Hero Down family, Combat Veteran, Federal Air Marshal, and Purple Heart recipient Sam Chhoeng who’s end of watch was March 21,2024.
A training scholarship fund is being established in his name.
